Acting for Improvisers
Class Description:
Are you an improviser who wants to be a better performer? Do you want to transition from Improvisor to Actor? Use the skills you have gained in your improv training and easily translate them into more in depth acting practices. Learn the fundamentals of acting techniques and schools of thought (Meisner, Strasberg, Stanislavski, etc.) and apply them within the improvisor's perspective. Eugene is a seasoned teacher in both the improv and acting space and can help you develop your acting style in this hybrid class of improv scenes and scene study.
This is for ADVANCED IMPROVISERS only. Four levels (or any multi-week improv class) at any long-form theater. You must be comfortable with the vocabulary of "game of the scene."
